39.	Apologies for Absence View the background to item 39. To receive any apologies for absence. Minutes: Apologies for absence were received from Councillors A Harewood and L Smetham.
40.	Declarations of Interest/Pre Determination View the background to item 40. To provide an opportunity for Members and Officers to declare any disclosable pecuniary and non-pecuniary interests and for Members to declare if they have a pre-determination in respect of any item on the agenda. Minutes: In the interest of openness in respect of application 21/4426M, Councillor N Mannion declared that similarly to his declaration in relation to application 20/1063M which was considered by the Committee in May, he had previously been Portfolio Holder for Environment and Regeneration with responsibility for the disposal of Cheshire East Council owned land. He had not been involved in the disposal of the land in questions and had no involvement in the two subsequent planning applications related to the land.

Minutes: RESOLVED That the minutes of the meeting held on 29 September 2021 be approved as a correct record and signed by the Chair subject to the minutes being amended to state that the meeting took place in the Capesthorne room and not the Council Chamber.

43.	21/4426M-Two new semi-detached dwellings with off street parking, John Street Car Park, John Street, Macclesfield for Mr Ward PDF 2 MB View the declarations of interest for item 43. To consider the above application. Minutes: Consideration was given to the above application. (Councillor B Puddicombe, the neighbouring Ward Councillor, Town Councillor F Wilson, representing Macclesfield Town Council, and Ian Harrison, representing the applicant attended the meeting and spoke in respect of the application. In addition a statement was read out by the Democratic Services Officer on behalf of Councillor A Farrall, the Ward Councillor). RESOLVED That the application be deferred in order for the Planning Officer and the applicant to consider potential revision to the scheme in the light of the late change in the officer’s recommendation of the scheme from one of approval to one of refusal.
