Declarations of Interest/Pre Determination To provide an opportunity for Members and Officers to declare any disclosable pecuniary interests, other registerable interests, and non-registerable interests in any item on the agenda and for Members to declare if they have a pre-determination in respect of any item on the agenda. Minutes: In the interest of openness Cllr S Bennet Wake declared that she knew one of the planning agents as they had represented Hurdfields residents at a planning appeal.
In the interest of openness Cllr T Dean declared that he knew one of the planning agents but had not discussed the applications with him.
In relation to application 25/4766/PIP Councillor M Beanland declared that he was a member of Poynton Town Council Planning Committee but had not taken part in any consideration of this application.
In relation to application 25/4012/FUL, Councillor K Edwards declared that he had called in the application ot the committee and would speak on the application as a ward councillor and then leave the meeting.
In relation to applications on the agenda, it was declared in the interest of openness that all committee members had received correspondence on them. |

The following attended the meeting and spoke in relation to the application: Councillor Hayley Whitacker (ward councillor), Poynton Town Councillor Laurence Clark, Carol Yarwood (objector) and Bob Phillips (agent).
RESOLVED:
That the application be REFUSED against officer recommendation, for the following reasons:
Inappropriate development in the Green Belt – site does not meet the definition of Grey Belt and fails paragraph 155 (a) as the site makes a strong contribution to the green belt purpose to check the unrestricted sprawl.
The meeting adjourned for a short break during which Councillor T Dean left the meeting and did not return. |
