- Councillor Brian Roberts - In the interests of Openness - Councillor B Roberts declared that he had attended a number of briefings, particularly with Crewe Town Council, but had retained an open mind.
- Councillor Peter Groves - In the interests of Openness - Councillor P Groves declared that he had received telephone calls and emails from the CPRE but had retained an open mind.
- Councillor Stewart Gardiner - In the interests of Openness - Councillor S Gardiner declared that he had received telephone call and email correspondence from Mr Andrew Needham, a representative of the CPRE, who was registered to speak at the meeting. Mr Needham was known to him, as they had both been employees in the same organisation. They had had a brief telephone conversation and Councillor Gardiner had told him that he could not discuss the matter. Councillor Gardiner stated that he had referred the correspondence to officers and declared that he had retained an open mind.
