Local Authorities from time to time need to formulate and publish proposals for preservation and enhancement of conservation areas. The Sandbach Conservation area only has a partial appraisal and management plan which itself is very out of date. The Conservation Area was last reviewed in the mid 1990’s.
A revised character appraisal and management plan has been prepared and authority is sought to undertake community consultation. The draft appraisal and management plan was prepared in consultation with the Sandbach Conservation and Heritage Group and Sandbach Town Council.
