General Licensing Sub-Committee

Purpose of committee

The General Licensing Sub-Committee is a Sub-Committee consisting of five members of the Licensing Committee selected on an ad hoc basis. The General Licensing Sub-Committee is responsible for dealing with the determination of applications other than those under the Licensing Act 2003 and Gambling Act 2005. This includes (amongst others) applications for hackney carriage/private hire drivers’ licences, hackney carriage/private hire vehicle licences and street trading consents.
