Marton Neighbourhood Plan - Decision to Make the Plan pdf icon PDF 72 KB

To confirm the making of Marton Neighbourhood Plan

Decision:

That approval be given for the Marton Neighbourhood Plan to be made, and to form part of the Development Plan for Cheshire East.

Minutes:

The Marton Neighbourhood Development Plan was submitted to Cheshire East Council in February 2016 and, following a statutory publicity period, proceeded to Independent Examination.  The Examiner’s report recommended that, subject to some minor modifications, the Plan should proceed to referendum.

A referendum on the neighbourhood plan was held on 27 October.  This returned a positive vote in favour of using the neighbourhood plan to help determine planning applications in the neighbourhood area.

RESOLVED - That approval be given for the Marton Neighbourhood Plan to be made, and to form part of the Development Plan for Cheshire East.
