Minutes:

Consideration was given to the award of grants from the Transport and Accessibility Grant Scheme (TAG), and from the Local Sustainable Transport Fund (LSTF) Business Travel Planning Grants; these schemes are considered to be a positive way of supporting residents to develop community led transport initiatives which improve access to services.

The report summarised the evaluation of the large grant business plan submissions, a deferred small grant application, and LSTF applications.  The grants submitted had been assessed in line with the associated policies and assessment criteria.  An appendix to the report summarised the assessment and evaluation for each application.

With reference to the two TAG applications from Poynton Town Council, which were recommended for deferral, it was noted that work on their respective business plans was continuing and the applications were due to be considered by the Portfolio Holder at a meeting on 20 March 2014.
