Authority is sought to proceed with elements of the detailed design and commencement of a first phase of the Initial Preparation and Infrastructure Works

The Economy and Growth Committee at its meeting on 9 September 2025 considered a report on the Garden Village Handforth Delivery Strategy and resolved

2        Delegate authority to the Executive Director of Place to take all actions necessary to implement the actions approved by this Committee in consultation with the Executive Director of Resources and the Director of Governance and Compliance and the Chair and Vice Chair of the Economy and Growth Committee.

To proceed with the detailed design and early construction works to deliver elements of the Initial Preparation and Infrastructure Works at Handforth Garden Village.
