The Council commissioned an independent
external peer review in 2024 to inform its decision regarding the
potential exercise of the break clause in its Highway Service
Contract. On 19 July 2024, this committee received the report on
the peer review and approved that the break clause was not
exercised.
The committee delegated responsibility to the Director of
Transportation and Infrastructure develop and implement a plan to
respond to the findings of the peer review. This report details the
Improvement Action Plan.
