We the undersigned petition the council to As local residents of Sandbach, UK, we are deeply affected by the persistent flooding under the Ettiley Heath Railway Bridge. This problem has been reported hundreds of times over a span of 10 years and yet remains unresolved. The flooding significantly impacts our daily lives - from commuting to work or school, running businesses, to receiving essential deliveries. Even more concerning is the potential hindrance it poses for emergency services.
Alternative routes via Clay Lane, Hall Lane and Crabmill Lane are not viable solutions as they flood simultaneously. This situation leaves us feeling trapped and helpless in our own homes.
The construction of a housing estate without proper consideration for this ongoing issue has only exacerbated the problem. We fear that if left unaddressed, this could lead to serious consequences such as inability to access emergency services when needed.
We implore Cheshire East Council to take immediate action on this matter. It is their responsib
