That the Deputy Leader

1         notes the advice of the Corporate Overview and Scrutiny Committee meeting of 30 March 2021;

2          approves the 2021/22 Business Plans for ANSA Environmental Services Ltd, Orbitas Bereavement Services Ltd and Transport Services Solutions Ltd, noting that the Shareholder Committee is assured that: -

·           the companies are well managed and deliver a high level of service for residents of Cheshire East

·           the companies are beginning to focus more on their objectives of delivering commercial returns to the shareholder.

3          implements the detailed recommendations made by the ASDV Shareholder Committee to support each company to operate to its full potential; and

4          notes that the ASDV Shareholder Committee wishes to register its thanks to the companies for maintaining their strong delivery performance, and a forward momentum on growth activity, despite the unprecedented disruption that COVID-19 has caused to normal operations this year.
