To determine the award of Community Grants to voluntary and community organisations which meet the criteria approved by Cheshire East Council. Minutes: The Cabinet Member for Performance and Capacity considered a report on the award of community grants to voluntary and community organisations which met the criteria approved by Cheshire East Council.
The report covered the final round of grants for 2009/10, and made recommendations in line with the Council’s policy on the allocation of grants. Each grant application was outlined in the report, together with the reason for the recommendation in each case. All of the proposed grants could be funded from within existing budgets approved as part of the Council’s Budget for 2009/10.
The Cabinet Member congratulated the Officers on the thoroughness of their work in assessing the grant applications. He asked that for a future meeting the Officers provide an indication of the costs associated with administering the grants scheme.
RESOLVED
That the grants listed in the Appendix to the report be awarded, declined or deferred as indicated. |
