To consider a report on a proposed reduction in the published charge for Telecare.
Minutes:
The Cabinet Member for Adult Services considered a proposed reduction in the published charge for Telecare.
At its meeting on 25th February 2010, the Council approved the 2010/11 Budget Report, including the schedule of Fees and Charges, save to the extent that the setting of fees and charges was exercised by other Committees, Panels or individuals under the scheme of delegation or otherwise (Appendix B, Para 199 and Annex 7 of the report).
An amendment to the schedule was now required to reflect cost savings.
RESOLVED
That the Cabinet Member for Adult Services approves the reduction of the charge for Telecare from £9.71 per week to £1.05 per week, in line with the reduction in the cost of provision.
