Decisions:

The Cabinet Member for Health and Wellbeing considered a report on the Health and Wellbeing Service Pricing Policy and Leisure Concession Discount Scheme.

The Health and Wellbeing Service Pricing Policy had to be approved and published each year.

The Leisure Concession Discount Scheme was based on a membership package that used the approved ‘Everybody Options’ sub-brand approved for use within leisure facilities. It was a simple and easy-to-understand scheme for all customers and staff and consisted of:

  • Annually renewable scheme for all card holders
  • Eligibility checked on an annual basis at the time of renewal
  • One common price for all renewals (£5/year)
  • Discounts available mainly on individual activities (except small team sports)
  • Pricing based on a 50% discount of the full casual adult price

RESOLVED

That the Health and Wellbeing Service Pricing Policy and the Leisure Concession Discount Scheme, as attached as Appendices 1 and 2 to the report, be approved.
