Being satisfied that traffic should be prohibited to facilitate works, to give public notice of and make a temporary road closure under s14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 as amended, and all other enabling powers ot prohibit traffic on Congleton Road, Gawsworth, Macclesfield for its full extent for a period of 18 months or until the works have been completed whichever is sooner.
For highway maintenance/improvement works to be carried out it is necessary to close Congleton Road, Gawsworth/Macclesfield for its full extent.
