Officer Delegated Decision - Temporary Traffic Regulation Order: Maxwell Street, Crewe

Being satisfied that traffic should be prohibited to facilitate works, to give public notice of and make a temporary road closure order under S14 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended, and all other enabling powers to prohibit traffic on Maxwell Street, Crewe from the junction of Edleston Road to outside number 24 for a period of 18 months or until the works have been completed, whichever is the sooner.

For sewer repairs to be carried out it is necessary to close Maxwell Street, Crewe from the junction of Edleston Road to outside number 24. The alternative route will be via Derrington Avenue, Edleston Road and visa versa which is considered the most suitable route.

It is anticipated that the works will commence on 24th

Monday April 2023 and will be completed by Friday 5^th May 2023.
