Petitions

Cheshire East council welcomes petitions and recognises that petitions are one way in which people can let us know their concerns. All petitions sent or presented to the Council will receive an acknowledgement within 10 working days of receipt. This acknowledgment will set out what we plan to do with the petition.

You can send us a paper petition and/or set up an e-petition.

Written petitions can be sent to the Petitions Officer, Legal and Democratic Services, Westfields, Middlewich Road, Sandbach, Cheshire, CW11 1HZ or email petitions@cheshireeast.gov.uk.

Alternatively petitions may be created, signed and submitted online (e-petitions). If you sign an e-petition on this website you will required to provide us with basic personal information to enable us to verify the signatures collected are genuine.
