26th October and the 23rd December 2020 and how it has been addressed in the Report of Consultation and the views of the Strategic Planning and how those views have been incorporated into the Final Draft Houses in Multiple Occupation Supplementary Planning Document, the Portfolio Holder for Planning

 

1          agrees to the publication of the Final Draft Houses in Multiple Occupation  Supplementary Planning Document and the Report of Consultation for public representations for a period of six weeks.

 

2          Agrees to the publication of the Strategic Environmental Assessment and Habitats Regulations Screening Report, and

 

3          Agrees to the publication of the associated Equalities Impact Assessment.

09/04/2021 - CE 20/21-34 Article 4 Directions for Small Houses in Multiple Occupation ref: 2455    Recommendations Approved

Decision to confirm three non-immediate Article 4 Directions, to come into effect on 1 November 2021, for the areas in Crewe around Nantwich Road, West Street and Hungerford Road, having considered the feedback from public consultation carried out between 19 October 2020 and 11 January 2021 and the views of the Strategic Planning Board on 24 March 2021.

That having considered the representations received to the Article 4 Directions set out in the Consultation Statement, including the council’s response, and the updated Equalities Impact Assessment, the Portfolio Holder

 

1          confirms the three non-immediate Article 4 Directions, to come into effect on the 1 November 2021, covering the Nantwich Road, Hungerford Road and West Street areas of Crewe, and

 

2          authorises the Head of Planning to carry out the necessary statutory procedures to confirm the Directions in conjunction with the Head of Legal Services, including issuing notice(s) that the Directions have been confirmed.

01/03/2021 - Decision to Make the Marton Modification Neighbourhood Plan ref: 2454    Recommendations Approved

The original Marton Neighbourhood Plan was subject to a referendum and made by the Council on 29th November 2016. The made Plan has now been reviewed and updated. The Plan has been subjected to independent examination and the review process has resulted in a number of modifications to the original Plan.  To implement those modifications and bring the updated plan into effect, the Council must now make the updated Marton Modification Neighbourhood Plan and revoke the original neighbourhood plan.

That the Portfolio Holder:

 

1          confirms that the Marton Neighbourhood Plan, made on 29th November 2016 is revoked.

 

2          accepts the Examiner’s recommendations to make modifications to the Marton Modification Neighbourhood Plan as set out in the Examiner’s report.

 

3          confirms that the Marton Modification Neighbourhood Plan is now made, and forms part of the Development Plan for Cheshire East and

 

4          confirms that the Council will use the Marton Modification Neighbourhood Plan in planning decisions, giving policies significant weight so far as they are material to planning applications within the Marton Neighbourhood Area.

23/03/2021 - Building Control - Service Specific Enforcement Policy ref: 2453    Recommendations Approved

The service specific policy for Building Control has been updated and approval is sought from the Portfolio Holder of Planning.

 

In October 2019 Cabinet approved the updated Cheshire East Enforcement Policy, an overarching enforcement policy for use by all regulatory services within Cheshire East. The Policy referenced a suite of service specific policies that are used by individual regulatory teams.  Cabinet delegated the approval process for the service specific policies to those Portfolio Holders that have specific responsibility for enforcement activity.
