That the annual service level agreements with museums for 2024/25 be renewed:
1 £86,000 to be paid to the Macclesfield Silk Heritage Trust.
2 £25,000 to be paid to the Nantwich Museum
3 £5,380 to be paid to the Congleton Museum
All payments are subject to the conditions set out within respective service level agreements being met.
The Major Projects strand of National Lottery Project Grants is designed to support cultural projects of scale and ambition that will help to deliver Arts Council England’s third Outcome, A Creative and Cultural Country.
An application to be made for funding which will be used towards significant project development and delivery, including:
· A Cultural Step Change project in Crewe that will bring together key partners to deliver a programme of activities and events in Crewe.
· A programme that will deliver long lasting positive change through creating opportunities for artists, creative businesses, young people and families to experience high quality culture and access creative skills development.
· Specific activity will include development of a visual arts hub, utilising empty space in Crewe Town Centre to provide much needed exhibition, workshop and selling space for artists, a maker festival and support for further events in the Town.
