The Strategic Outcomes Portfolio Holder is responsible for delivering the platform of success that will support the outcomes for all other Portfolios; it includes responsibility for the Council’s Local Plan, and strategic infrastructure, including highways and HS2. This work cuts across the Council, and requires the support of all Portfolio Holders, in particular that of the Care and Health in the Community Portfolio Holder. The role holder works with the lead officers; Head of Strategic Commissioning, Chief Operating Officer, Director of Economic Growth and Prosperity and Head of Communities to deliver on these strategic outcomes. The Portfolio Holder chairs the new Cheshire East Inc company, which oversees the Council’s new service delivery entities.
